The excitement for hello darlin' is building, and our team just took the first big step toward bringing our Southern-inspired, Americana bar to life. Our inaugural training day was filled with energy, as it was the first time the entire team met each other and got a feel for what makes this honky-tonk so special.
We kicked things off by diving into the core values of Nixon Hospitality—principles that guide every aspect of our service.
From creating a warm, inviting environment to ensuring top-notch hospitality, the team is now on board with our commitment to making each guest’s experience at hello darlin' one to remember.
But it wasn’t all work! To break the ice, we had some fun with team-building exercises that got everyone laughing and comfortable with one another. These activities helped set the tone for the collaborative and upbeat spirit we want to bring to the restaurant.
Afterward, we took a trip to a local gem, Lost Together, a vintage shop that perfectly matches the hello darlin' vibe.
The visit wasn’t just for fun—it was an opportunity to get some style inspiration for our uniforms. With an Americana bar concept in mind, we explored country wear and jeans, ensuring that our outfits reflect the down-home, laid-back spirit we aim to bring into our restaurant.
