Pen Pal Pop-Up: Spectacular Cocktails and Creative Collaboration

Liam Hatton (Published on Main), Riley Maggs (The Keefer Bar), and Griffin Cox (Bernie's) collaborated on a special cocktail list for our inaugural Pen Pal Pop-Up series.

We are beyond excited to share the success of Bernie’s Supper Club & Cinema’s very first Pen-Pal Pop-Up event! It was a night filled with creativity, collaboration, and, of course, some seriously impressive cocktails.

The evening brought together two immensely talented bartenders from Vancouver—Riley Maggs of The Keefer Bar and Liam Hatton of Published on Main—who joined forces with our very own Griff to shake things up behind the bar. The result? A lineup of spectacular cocktails that left our guests sipping in awe.

What made this pop-up so special? For us, it was about more than just great drinks.

By inviting talent from outside of Kelowna, we were able to bring a fresh wave of creativity into our cocktail program, blending diverse techniques and flavors. Riley and Liam brought their unique approaches and innovative flair, and when combined with Griff’s local expertise, the result was something extraordinary. Each cocktail offered during the event told a story, reflecting the individual artistry of each bartender while celebrating the magic that happens when passionate mixologists come together.

But beyond the cocktails themselves, the Pen-Pal Pop-Up was also about building connections. Events like this allow us to collaborate with industry pros, share knowledge, and create opportunities to introduce our guests to new flavors and experiences. It’s a way for us to expand our reach and connect with communities outside of Kelowna, all while staying true to our commitment to bringing world-class beverages to our customers.

If you missed this one, don’t worry! This is just the beginning. We can’t wait to bring even more exciting and innovative cocktail experiences your way.
